The Northwood University campus will be closed from December 23rd until January 2nd for the holidays.

Judges Panel

Students will be judged by a panel of industry leading professionals across the design and marketing space. Our panel currently includes globally award-winning marketers and professors with decades of professional experience

Winners will have an opportunity to have their submission entered in the AAF Regional Michigan student competition. The rubric will judge submitted work on several factors including their creativity, consistency in approach, and strategic execution. ​

Alongside prizes, students and their work will be featured on Northwood University social media.

About AMA

The AMA is the world’s largest marketing association, and its purpose is to promote education, career development, and the ethical practice of marketing. Benefits of being a member of the AMA Collegiate include:

The AMA also hosts an annual Collegiate Marketing Week competition, which is usually held during the first full week of October.

The competition is open to Michigan High School students including home school, private, public and parochial in grades 9-12.

Registration will be open starting Friday, November 1st. All final entries must be submitted by Wednesday, December 18th. Judging will occur between December 18th and January 15th.

Three or four students per team. Each team of students will work on the same project. Each campaign presentation must include a written and oral component. Rules are outlined in a detailed challenge document rubric.

No. All content (written and visual) must be original. If AI is detected, your entry will be automatically disqualified.

Each entry will be judged by a panel of industry professionals. No face-to-face presentation is required.

Students will learn about many aspects of the advertising and marketing field. All entries will be judged by industry professionals. Winning teams will receive certificate plaque, cash prizes. First and second place teams will be automatically entered in the AAF student competition in the Flint, Michigan region.  Prize money will be allocated per school policies.
