What is AMA?
Learn Marketing by Doing, Not Just Studying
The American Marketing Association (AMA) is a nationally recognized organization dedicated to advancing marketing education and practice. Offering competition, skill building, and networking opportunities in the fields of marketing, advertising, branding, digital strategy, analytics, and professional sales, students in AMA learn by doing, bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world marketing experience.

AMA at Northwood University
Take Your Skills Across the Country
AMA competitors at Northwood University travel all throughout the United States, building their skills and professional networks. Northwood University competitors excel in a variety of skill areas, from sales and digital marketing, to pitch style competition, and Northwood AMA has been named one of AMA’s top ten small chapters in the nation.
At Northwood University, we believe that students who positively represent themselves and the university on the national stage deserve our support. Northwood University supports AMA competitors financially both in their competition travel and through available competitive scholarships.
