Opening Convocation

About Opening Convocation

Opening Convocation is a formal event that celebrates the beginning of an academic year. It looks and feels like a commencement ceremony without the students actually crossing the stage.

This year’s Opening Convocation will be held on Saturday, August 24th at 10:30a.m. in the Bennett Sports Center / Ripema Arena.

Dress code is business casual. Please wear either slacks or business dress pants, khakis, chinos, knee-length skirts, dark jeans without holes. Button-down shirts, sweaters, blouses, henleys or polo shirts. Knee-length or maxi dresses.
