Northwood University’s partnership with Your Vote, Your Voice 2014 now makes it possible for students, faculty and staff to join a variety of other higher education associations in playing an integral role in the 2014 elections.
Developed to help colleges and universities increase voter participation through campus-wide education and streamlined registration opportunities, the program is a cooperative effort of nearly 50 Washington, D.C. based national higher education associations.
“As Northwood University faculty, staff and students continue to support key political initiatives by visiting the polls, we find our partnership with Your Voice, Your Vote a valuable one. In addition to providing a portal for Northwood University constituents to deliberate, debate and discuss thoughts and ideas, the voter registration project provides links which streamline the process relating to registration deadlines, state election offices, absentee voting information, and more,” said Northwood University President Keith A. Pretty, JD, of the higher education National Campus Voter Registration Project.
Scheduled to run until election-day, November 4, 2014, the portal may be accessed at: yourvoteyourvoice.org.
