This year’s Stafford Dinner was truly a Northwood affair, as the evening’s entertainment, guest speakers, venue manager and favors all were from Northwood alumni and family.
“We sincerely thank the 45 Northwood students who contributed to this year’s dinner,” stated Kennedy Vancalbergh, a Northwood University BBA/MBA student focused on marketing and entrepreneurship, and this year’s Stafford Dinner marketing and public relations chair. “Everyone was amazing with their flexibility to solve problems, willingness to help, and professionalism. The volunteers this year truly deserve much praise for their efforts.”
This year’s executive board member is grateful to the following Northwood graduates who helped make this year’s Stafford Dinner a success:

• Ben Marsh and Jacob Spence, the owners of Creation Coffee and guest speakers for this year’s Stafford Dinner
• Jackson Popcorn Depot — a Northwood graduate family-owned business that provided the evening’s favors
The Stafford Dinner is an annual event run entirely by Northwood students to give students experiential learning opportunities while raising funds for hospitality program scholarships. It is held in honor of Mr. William D. Stafford, the first chairman of the Hotel, Restaurant & Resort Management Department at Northwood Institute.
