Free Freedom Fest concert set for Sept. 20
Stone Street Revival (SSR) will wrap up Northwood University’s inaugural Freedom Fest Concert Series on Sept. 20 in Midland.
“We have had some terrific turnout for our Freedom Fest concerts here at ‘Midland’s University’ this summer,” said Northwood University President Kent MacDonald. “We are looking forward to inviting the community back to our campus for an evening of music and fun games as we conclude the 2022 Freedom Fest Concert Series with Stone Street Revival.”
Stone Street Revival (SSR) is a premier musical group from Michigan that focuses on great songs you don’t often hear and 70s hits. In addition to some great music, the Sept. 20 concert will feature games for the whole family and food trucks (Nate’s Cart and Proper Taco).
Those who plan to come out should bring their own lawn chairs. Everyone is allowed to bring snacks and coolers with beverages of their choice.
The concert will held at 6 p.m. at the John and Marjorie Hohman Amphitheater at Northwood University in Midland. In the event of inclement weather, festivities will be moved to the Griswold Communications Center.
Northwood University is located at 4000 Whiting Drive.
