Northwood University recently received a 4th place rank in the “Best Private Business Schools” category in the national 2014 PayScale College ROI Report. The survey revealed Northwood University delivers a 9 percent annual return on investment (ROI) for its graduates. In 2013, Northwood University ranked 7th overall in this same category.The PayScale Survey ranked more than 900 U.S. colleges and universities based on total cost and alumni earnings. The study’s annual ROI figure compares the return over 20 years when investing money in a degree at a certain school as opposed to other investments, such as stocks or bonds. Total cost to attend a school is based on the school’s tuition, room and board, books and supplies and is weighted for in-state and out-of-state tuition rates.
Other private business schools in the 2014 top 10 for annual ROI include Park University, Babson College, Bentley College, Nichols College, Bryant University, St. Joseph’s University, Cardinal Stritch University, Indiana Wesleyan University and Southern New Hampshire University.
