Continuing decades of honoring educational contributions within the automotive industry, Northwood University is announcing the newest class of Dealer Education Award honorees.
“These honorees are leaders in the industry, and Northwood couldn’t be more pleased than to recognize each and every one of them as this year’s Dealer Education Award honorees,” stated Murray Kyte, vice president of advancement at Northwood University.
The honorees include:
- Sandy Angello, vice president/dealer operator, Pohanka Automotive Group, Salisbury, Salisbury, Maryland
- Thijs Bochane, CEO/owner, Bochane Group, Veenendaal, The Netherlands
- Joey Gabarda, owner/dealer operator, Classic Honda, Midland, Texas
- Tim Kool, president/dealer principal, Heritage Chevrolet, Battle Creek, Michigan
- Brett Sutherlin, president and CEO, Sutherlin Automotive Group, Montgomery, Alabama
Since 1972, Northwood has recognized automotive dealers for contributions to education and their communities.
This year’s honorees were honored Saturday, Feb. 3, at the Encore – Wynn Las Vegas, during the 2024 National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Show.
