U.S. News & World Report ranks Northwood University among top third of colleges with best online bachelor’s programs for veterans
Northwood University is among the top third of colleges ranked by U.S. News & World Report for best online bachelor’s programs for veterans.
“Northwood has long been a supporter of all our servicemen and women,” stated President Kent MacDonald. “For more than 40 years, we have provided voluntary education programs to our nation’s service members, veterans and military family members. Our faculty and staff are devoted to providing an environment that helps these individuals achieve their academic and personal goals.”
Northwood provides a number of military benefits, including discounted tuition for veterans and their family members; dedicated military and veteran advisors; local Veterans Certifying Officers and academic advisors; and the option of getting college credit for prior military training. Veterans and their families can enroll for online or in-person learning.
“We are proud to facilitate a top-notch educational experience for our veterans and their families, as military service aligns with The Northwood Idea principles of protecting freedom and serving the needs of others,” MacDonald noted.
Northwood University′s online programs were among more than 1,200 programs surveyed by U.S. News & World Report. In the category of Best Online Bachelor’s Programs for Veterans, Northwood ranked 100 out of 361. Many veterans also choose to pursue advanced graduate degrees in-person and online through the DeVos Graduate School of Management at Northwood University.
