Students enrolled in Northwood degree programs ANC Education in Sri Lanka recently won a virtual inter-university finance quiz competition hosted by the University of Kelaniya.
Ten universities participated and three were selected for the finals, including ANC, which won the final round to bring home the grand prize of 50,000 Sri Lankan Rupees and a trophy.
Team members were selected by Dr. Chatura Liyanage, who teaches finance and management courses at ANC. Selectees included Yasith Jayasundara (Management); Aadhil Ishar (Management Information Systems); Rohithraj Baskaran (Management Information Systems and International Business); Vihanga Perera, (Management Information Systems); and (not pictured), Upadhya Diunugalage (International Business and Hospitality Management).
The inter-university finance quiz competition is normally conducted by the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, with the collaboration of government universities. This year, it was open for private sector universities.
Northwood University has been offering degree programs at their International Program Center in Sri Lanka in collaboration with ANC Education since 2004.
