Northwood Esports competitor and content creator Alexia ‘Lexi’ Brown has officially joined the CORSAIR Partner Program, making her a brand ambassador for one of the largest gaming peripheral brands in the world.
“This partnership is a testament to Lexi’s dedication to esports, content creation, and industry networking,” explained Northwood Esports Coach Jacob R. Jacob. “This milestone was built on years of hard work, networking, and a passion for gaming technology.”
Unlike most players, Brown plays a crucial role in shaping Northwood Esports’ content and social media presence. As the program’s social media and content lead, she is deeply involved in multiple aspects of the team, serving not only as a creator but also as a mentor to students interested in media, branding, and esports marketing. Northwood Esports coaches consistently highlight Brown as a key figure for students looking to develop their content skills or build their personal brands in the gaming industry.
Brown has actively engaged with industry professionals at events like TwitchCon, steadily growing her connections within the gaming and streaming community. Her dedication to showcasing CORSAIR products through high-quality content and authentic enthusiasm caught the attention of the company’s partnership team.
In May 2024, Brown secured an internship with Elgato, a CORSAIR-owned brand, where she refined her skills in videography, product photography, scriptwriting, copywriting, and social strategy. Her ability to integrate these skills into her content and professional relationships ultimately led to her invitation to the CORSAIR Partner Program.
“A partnership with CORSAIR is a step above a typical ambassador role,” said Brown. “It means working directly with the brand on product launches, modeling new gaming equipment, and collaborating creatively. This is a full-circle moment for me — CORSAIR was behind my first gaming keyboard, my first industry internship, and now, my first major partnership deal.”
Jacob noted Brown’s relentless work ethic and passion for both competitive gaming and content creation make her a perfect fit for the CORSAIR Partner Program.
“Lexi embodies the drive and professionalism that we encourage in our program, and we couldn’t be more excited to see her represent both Northwood Esports and CORSAIR,” Jacob added.
Assistant Coach Aden Frosch said Brown’s success is an inspiring example of how dedication and strategic networking can lead to incredible opportunities.
“Her partnership with CORSAIR not only benefits her personal brand but also strengthens Northwood Esports’ connection with major gaming companies, opening new doors for our program and future players,” Frosch added.
Beyond personal achievement, Brown’s partnership with CORSAIR is a win for Northwood Esports as well. CORSAIR has been actively investing in the academic esports space, supplying programs with educational resources and state-of-the-art gaming equipment. Brown’s role in the CORSAIR Partner Program helps bridge the gap between collegiate esports and the industry, paving the way for future collaborations.
