Students are putting the final touches on the March 24 Northwood University Fashion Showcase.
“This year’s theme is Artistic Couture,” explained Chair Annaleisa Bergeson. “We want to embody the creativity of fashion and the students at Northwood. Art and fashion go hand in hand and often influence each other. Our goal is to show the connection between the two.”
This year’s event will showcase student designers and their original collections throughout the show.
More than 100 students are involved in this year’s fashion showcase. The executive planning board includes:

“My goal for this year has been to not only have an amazing show but for everyone involved to grow in their knowledge and professional skills,” Bergeson said. “The week leading up to the show is always an amazing experience, and it’s exciting to see all our hard work pay off.”
This year’s event will be the 23rd annual Northwood University Fashion Showcase. It is set to begin at 7 p.m. Friday, March 24, at the Hach Student Life Center, 4000 Whiting Dr., Midland.
