Alumnus Applies Northwood Experience Towards Leadership of Family Tax Group

October 22, 2014
A person wearing a dark suit, white shirt, and striped tie is smiling in front of a wooden door.

Now President and CEO of his family’s Palm Beach Tax Group Inc., Enrolled Agent Roland C. Manuel, a 2003 graduate who’d majored in business management, is applying knowledge gained as a Northwood University student toward growing the family business.

“I believe it all started with my experience at Northwood University,” reflected Manuel. “From the faculty and small classrooms, to the accessible professors and the outside influencers who were brought in the classrooms to share their experiences, Northwood University leaders know how to inspire and to educate.”

Manuel is utilizing that encouragement and knowledge toward solidifying a sustainable and professional tax and accounting practice. The firm offers a wide variety of services from accounting software selection and implementation, audits, reviews and compilations, business consulting, estate and trust tax preparation, IRS representation and more. “I like to remain a boutique firm while making a big impact on the community,” said Manuel.

And clients are taking note, as the business continues to grow. “My goal is to always do the best I can for my clients while providing extraordinary care, educating them about their tax compliance requirements and enabling them to pay the least amount of tax allowed,” added the West Palm Beach native.
