“Northwood University provided me with the tools to excel in the accounting and business world. From the beginning of my Northwood career I was connected with individuals (both classmates & professors) to help me build my resume, sharpen my soft skillset, and connect me to internship and career opportunities. Another reason Northwood helped me excel was that there was opportunity to be involved in campus life in so many ways. I was part of Emerging Leaders, JV basketball, Vice President of the Honorary Accounting Society, and a part of the E-board of Student United Way where I was able to go on alternative spring break to help build houses for those who suffered from hurricane damage in Houston, TX. Finally, the Northwood community supported me every step of the way and allowed me to make connections to help me excel and move forward with taking my CPA exam and getting ready to start a new job. Overall, Northwood pushed me to be the best I could be and provided me with resources and tools to help me along the way.”
