Senior Alex Adams has been named Track & Field Player of the Week for the Sooner Athletic Conference. The award was for the week ending February 8th.Adams won the award based on his performance at the University of Central Oklahoma Indoor Invitational. The meet was held at Norman, Oklahoma, where Adams won the shot put with a throw of 56’ 3”. Adams outdistanced the second place finisher by almost nine feet.
The winning throw by Adams was also one of the top five marks in the shot put among all NAIA competitors this season.
