My Teaching Philosophy
Some of the best advice I received when I began teaching was to keep in mind that our students are learning how to be independent adults. With that in mind, I focus on helping my students improve themselves, not only in their understanding of Finance, but as independent thinking and functioning adults. I want them to develop their own critical thinking and self-awareness to properly identify what they want to accomplish and develop the skills to make it happen.
Why I am at NU
I am at Northwood University because I was once a student here and the faculty helped me to further develop my critical thinking and thereby changed my life. I have the unique opportunity now to be that professor to help young, talented minds to do the same and to help them figure out what they want in life and how to achieve it.
