Professional Designations
All professionals employed full or part in the motor vehicle aftermarket by an Auto Care Association, MEMA, AASA member organization, regardless of job function, educational background, or channel, is eligible to earn their AAP, MAAP, GAAE designations.
Created in collaboration with the Automotive Content Professionals Network. Only professionals engaged in content/catalog management are eligible for the ACP designation.
Distance Education
Through a partnership with Northwood University, the University of the Aftermarket offers online university-level classes on a variety of business topics. These classes are the exact same classes offered to Northwood University undergraduate students and are taught by Northwood faculty. It is a convenient way to improve your professional skills while earning CEUs toward your professional designations.
Courses are typically eight weeks long and conducted online. Courses do not meet at a specific time, so participants may log in and participate when it’s convenient. Courses are pass/no pass and only CEU, non-degree credit is awarded. Students do not take tests, but they are expected to complete all course requirements.
