Director – Dealer Policy (Toyota Motor North America – Odenton, MD)

Nathan Lindstrom graduated from Northwood University in 2008 with a major in Banking and Finance. He is currently the Director of Dealer Policy for Toyota Motor North America.

When asked about how his Northwood experience has impacted his career, Nathan said “The PEOPLE at Northwood provided me a strong foundation for my professional career. Many of the professors and staff truly helped me feel like a part of the Northwood family. It’s interesting how the lessons of limited government and personal responsibility were not fully appreciated until nearly 17 years after leaving Northwood. Specifically, the key lessons from Dale Matcheck, Tim Nash, and Cliff Harris regarding free enterprise and limited government. In my current role of fighting back against unrealistic government regulations in Washington DC, I have come to learn that the government has greater power to disrupt our business and industry than our competitors do. Many of the key tenets of the Northwood Idea are ingrained in how I approach my work. By respecting the government’s power, I have learned how to fight back against proposed regulations that will hurt the American consumer, businesses, taxpayer, and worker.”
