Mary Ellen Hess is an experienced travel industry executive with a passion for innovation and transformation. In her role as Executive Vice President of Corporate Travel Management (CTM), she spearheads new client acquisitions headquartered in North America. She is a highly regarded travel industry professional with more than three decades of proven success in leading high-performance teams and bringing new solutions to the travel industry.Mary Ellen’s accolades include recognition from Skift Medias Corporate Travel Innovators and the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA). In 2019 and again in 2022, she was named Top 50 Women in Travel and now serves on the GBTA WINiT Strategic Advisory Board. She has also been recognized as GBTA WINiT Glass Breaker and led the launch of a 1:1 global mentoring program for the corporate travel industry.
Prior to her current role, Mary Ellen held other notable executive leadership roles within the travel industry including American Express and BCD Travel.
Mary Ellen serves on the Board of Trustees for her alma mater, Northwood University. She credits Northwood University for setting her up for success with their entrepreneurial foundation and values, helping to crystallize her path forward in the travel industry.
