A native of Michigan, Ms. Orlans has established five businesses in the state and currently employs more than 500 individuals. She serves as the Managing Partner of Orlans Associates, P.C., a real estate-focused legal firm. Since the company’s inception she has generated consistent growth. Ms. Orlans holds admission to the Supreme Court of the United States. In 2010, her enterprise was named one of the 101 Best & Brightest Companies to Work For in Metro Detroit. Ms. Orlans won an Entrepreneur of the Year award from Ernst & Young Central Great Lakes Region. She supports several local nonprofit organizations, holding major leadership roles with several. In the past decade, she had been a founding member of Women Executives in Banking and the Beaumont Hospital Foundation’s First Words Society. A graduate of Michigan State University College of Law, she is on the Donor Hall of Fame and has received the George N. Bashara, Jr. Distinguished Alumni Award.
