A summa cum laude graduate of Northwood University, Catherine Rodewald’s career in commercial real estate spanned over thirty-five years, and included overseeing the servicing, asset management and information technology associated with Prudential’s nearly $70 Billion commercial real estate mortgage portfolio.
Retired as President and CEO of Prudential Asset Resource, Inc. in December 2012, the former executive was named one of the country’s Top 5 Women in Commercial Mortgage Banking by Mortgage Banking Magazine in 2013. In 2011, she was recognized with the Distinguished Service Award from the Mortgage Bankers’ Association of America for her service to the industry and the organization. In 2009, she received the Athena Award from the Dallas Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Changemaker Award recognizing her as one of the top 25 women in business in North Texas from the Dallas Business Journal.
Mrs. Rodewald’s professional assignments include a current appointment by Governor Rick Perry in which she serves as Commissioner for the Texas State Department of Licensing and Regulation and an acting position as a Board of Director for the Parkland Foundation, where she is a member of the executive committee and chairs the audit committee. Past Board of Director appointments include The Texas State Board of Public Accountancy where she sat on a variety of committees, the Dallas Regional Chamber of Commerce, and the Dallas Chapter of the International Women’s Forum. She is also past president of the board of the Dallas Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
