Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Snow Machines, Inc.
Brooke VanderKelen Alba has grown up in the family business, Snow Machines, Inc. (SMI). Some of her earliest memories are skiing on SMI snow or visiting SMI’s offices. She immersed herself in the company, starting as an accounting intern, and contributing to the assembly and manufacturing of SMI’s products.
Brooke earned a bachelor’s degree in finance with specialization in entrepreneurship from Michigan State University in 2013. After graduation, she began her career at GE Healthcare, completing their Financial Leadership program, where she gained experience across diverse financial disciplines.
In 2015, Brooke returned to Snow Machines, Inc., where she leads their Global Sales Team as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Her role involves collaborating with teams on five continents as she oversees international and domestic sales proposals, engages closely with ski resorts on snowmaking system master planning, and drives marketing initiatives. She is also on the Board of SMI and its affiliated companies.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Brooke is deeply involved in the community of Midland. She serves locally as the Treasurer and Member of the Board of Directors of the West Midland Family Center and Chairs their Accounting and Budget Committee. She is also a member of the Midwest Ski Areas Association Board of Directors and has served on the Sustainability Committee for the Michigan Ski Areas Association.
