As president of the Ray C. Fish Foundation, Barbara Daniel is continuing the fine example of helping others established by her father. The Foundation has a long record of assistance to the people of Houston and across the state of Texas. Barbara Daniel was born in Massachusetts and educated in Eastern schools. Her father, Ray C. Fish, organized Fish Engineering Corporation and its subsidiary companies, which built gas pipelines and refineries across both North and South America. She has held numerous voluntary positions for many organizations. Mrs. Daniel retired to Kerrville, Texas some years ago to “slow down her life” and became busier than ever. She has served as a board member of the Cowboy Artists of America Museum in Kerrville, the M.D. Anderson Visitors Board in Houston and the George Bush Presidential Library Board in College Station. She is also a great supporter of Schreiner College in Kerrville. Her personal interests include golfing, skiing, traveling, cooking, gardening and working with her family’s foundation.
