Contributing time and enthusiasm to community, family and business, Mary Vyverberg Gallagher has not only achieved others’ respect and admiration but also offers leadership and guidance to everyone she reaches. In 1975, Mary forged into the retail industry by creating Mary V., a fashion design clothing store for large women. She is considered a leader in the large size market today, where she works closely with designers to fit the needs of her customers. Mary is the president of Hamilton Natural Gas Company, vice president of the Indianapolis Ballet Theatre, a member of the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the board of the National Society of Colonial Dames of Indiana and she is currently the Indiana Regent to Sulgrave Manor Regent in England. Mary is also a member of The Junior League of Indianapolis and of Descendants of the Mayflower Society. She was awarded the 1990 Volunteer of the Year in the Arts Award. She has a home in San Miguel de’Allende, Mexico.
