Debra Warner graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Classical English Literature and Ancient Art History. Teaching high school, she pursued a master’s degree in Education Administration. She is the founder, owner and active partner in several real estate land development and investment partnerships. She is married to Scott Warner, CEO of Budwarker, Inc. They have two children. Debra is a board member and past president of Arts Midland and has served as board member and board chair of the Midwest’s Matrix: Midland Festival of the Arts and Sciences. She is a dedicated Rotarian who believes in “service above self.” With her husband, she has co-chaired the 1992, 1994 and the 1996 Rotary District Conventions. Debra is currently president-elect of the Midland Morning Rotary Club and a board member and chair of fund development for the MidMichigan Medical Center, Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice Center. Mrs. Warner’s extensive work with Northwood includes executive board member and past chair of the Town & Campus chapter of the National Women’s Board & Friends, the Northwood Gallery, the FAD auctions and OmniQuest. In 1986 Debra received Northwood’s Silver Circle Award for service to Northwood and the Midland community. She has worked with the Michigan Dyslexia Institute toward public awareness and education. She is involved with the Michigan Protection and Advocacy Service and the Michigan Family Alliance.
