Louise Woerner is an entrepreneur. She is Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and owner of Health Care Resources (HCR), a health services firm with offices in Rochester, NY and Washington, D.C. HCR is at the forefront of non-institutional health. Ms. Woerner is also President of the Equipoise Center of America, LLC, a wellness center located in Rochester, NY. In this venture, she is 50% owner with B. Thomas Golisano, CEO of PayChex and President of Healthworks, a health information firm. Among her civic activities, Ms. Woerner serves on the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (Buffalo Branch), is Vice Chair of The Atlantic Council of the United States (ACUS), a Founding Director of the Friends of the National Institute of Nursing Research (FNINR) and a Director of The National Women’s Hall of Fame (Seneca Falls, NY). She is also the Founder and Volunteer Executive Director of HCR Cares, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit company providing community leadership in health and social service projects. Prior to establishing HCR, Ms. Woerner held consulting and management positions, including a top level position in the Executive Office of the President of the United States. She has an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BS from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.
