Catherine has been in the financial services industry for over 30 years. She began her career as a teller and worked her way up to Regional Manager. She is currently a Vice President, Financial Advisor and founding partner of The Cook Street Group at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. She concentrates primarily on fixed income management, wealth transfer strategies and alternative investments. In addition, as a Wealth Advisor, her areas of focus extend beyond traditional investments to include liability management, trust and estate planning, tax management and philanthropic strategies. Catherine is very active in her community as well. In addition to supporting the arts, she is a board member for Martha’s Village & Kitchen, sits on the National Advisory Cabinet for Guideposts and is Vice Chair of Northwood University’s Distinguished Women’s Executive Committee. Her passion as a child advocate let her to establishing an orphanage outside the United States and is involved with several organizations working with abused children.
