Susan Dell is the Co-Founder and CEO of the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation. The mission of the Foundation is to encourage and inspire children to reach their greatest potential. In its first three years, the Foundation has committed more than $500 million to initiatives that impact children’s well-being. The Foundation has developed innovative programs such as insure.a.kid, which has the goal of increasing the number of children enrolled in health insurance; and Team Adam, a national missing child rapid response program that provides human and technical assistance to local law enforcement officers who investigate cases of child abduction. Susan is also a board member of the Austin Children’s Hospital, the Cooper Clinic, Shoes for Austin and St. Andrew’s Episcopal School. Susan is the CEO and Creative Director of Susan Dell Inc. Susan graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in fashion merchandising and design. Susan’s designs have been worn by many celebrities photographed and featured in magazines such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, W Magazine, and for the covers of magazines such as More, People and Us. The Susan Dell collection is sold from her retail store in Austin, her web site susandell.com and at private collection shows around the country. Susan’s passions are her husband Michael and their four children, designing, philanthropy and competing in triathlons, marathons and cycling races.
