2003 – Colleyville, Texas
The Honorable Donna Arp of Colleyville, Texas served three terms in elected office, two of those in the mayor’s seat. Mayor is simply one of many titles Ms. Arp has achieved during many years of distinguished service to the volunteer and business community throughout North Texas. Donna’s career started with Procter and Gamble in the early 80s. In 1984 she founded her own company, Arp Lotter Investments and was joined as co-owner in 1997 by her husband, Bruce Lotter. She has continued to growbusinesses and the three she has founded have employed hundreds throughout the past 19 years. A cancer survivor, Ms. Arp chose to begin a life of ‘giving back’ through philanthropy and public service. She has become a legend throughout Texas as Chairman of the boards of Baylor Health Care Systems at Grapevine, the Colleyville Area Chamber of Commerce, Big Brothers and Big Sisters and the Tarrant County College Foundation. She is a leader in more than 30 not for profit organizations. Her honors include the University of Texas Permian Basin Public Leadership Institute’s “One of Three Best Local Leaders in Texas”, the Ft. Worth Business Press’ “100 Most Influential Leaders in Tarrant County” and Volunteer of the Year and Citizen of the Year, Colleyville, Texas. Cosmopolitan, Ft. Worth Child, Ft. Worth Texas and Philanthropy in Texas have featured her in cover stories. She is also included in the book Texas Women, Trail blazers, Shining Stars & Cowgirls. Donna and Bruce have two sons, Brandon and Collin, and a new grandson, Clay Russell.
