Since joining Cushman & Wakefield in 1981, Tara Stacom has distinguished herself as one of the leading Tenant Representation and Landlord Leasing Agents in the commercial real estate industry. She serves Cushman & Wakefield as Vice Chairman and Member of the Global Advisory Board. Ms. Stacom has consistently ranked among the firm’s top 5 brokers and in 2004 was Cushman & Wakefield’s number one broker worldwide. During her 25-year career, Ms. Stacom has been responsible for over 35 million square feet of commercial transactions ranging from gross and net leases, synthetic lease transactions, ground leases, build-to-suits, and property acquisitions and dispositions. Her clients include The Bank of New York, J. & W. Seligman, The McGraw-Hill companies, Gibson, Dunn, & Crutcher, Remy Cointreau USA, Visiting Nurse Service of New York, Colgate-Palmolive Company, SL Green, Paramount Group, Blackstone, Glorious Sun, RREEF, Hines Interests, and L&L Holdings. Ms. Stacom is best known by her clients for her creativity, exceptional service and ability to structure complex transactions. Ms. Stacom is most proud of the Cushman & Wakefield Service Excellence award acknowledging her successful relocation of more than 4,000 Bank of New York employees dislocated on 9/11, within two weeks of that tragic event.
