H. L. Galles, Jr., Chairman of the Board of Galles Chevrolet and President of Galles Motor Corporation, is the third generation of his family in the automotive industry in Albuquerque. He is past president of both the National Automobile Dealers Association and the New Mexico Automobile Dealers Association, on the Automotive Advisory Committee of Northwood, and has served on the Cadillac, Oldsmobile and Chevrolet National Dealer Councils. His pride and enthusiasm for his industry are notable and he has been much honored by his profession. Mr. Galles has received the NADA Distinguished Service Award, the Automotive Hall of Fame’s Distinguished Service Citation and the University of New Mexico Alumni Award of Distinction. A civic leader, he also has the distinction of receiving both the Albuquerque Sports Hall of Fame and the City of Albuquerque Awards of Distinction. An active pilot, Mr. Galles has over 10,000 flying hours to his credit.
