Nancy Layman started her business career in 1962 with an unproven chemical formula that was first produced in a rented garage and is now considered the world leader in semi-permanent mold release technology. She is now a recognized expert in the field. In 1981 Frekote, Inc. became a subsidiary of The Dexter Corporation and Mrs. Layman added the title Vice President, Hysol Division. In addition to Mrs. Layman’s business schedule, she is a busy wife and mother of two college-age sons. In 1970 she was honored as wife of the year by the Florida Chiropractic organization. “There are still opportunities for those who are prepared to commit themselves.
