Countess Mariuccia De Lord Rinaldi Carosio

Mariuccia De Lord Rinaldi Carosio is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Giovanni Carosio. Countess De Lord Rinaldi and her husband, Rinaldo, have had homes in Buenos Aires and Milan, as well as Asolo, Italy. They have two sons, Amedeo, a painter living in Buenos Aires, and Giovanni, president of an electro-technical industry in Rio de Janeiro. They also have a daughter, Christina, of Milan, who works in the creation of decorative arts. After studying humanities in high school in Italy and Argentina, Countess De Lord received a degree in French at the Alliance Francaise. The Countess is deeply devoted to work on a voluntary basis in organizations for the protection and defense of the Italian culture. This includes preservation of the ecology, landscape and ancient monuments. Countess De Lord also has served as national vice president of A.N.D.E. (Association Nazionale Donne Elettrici), corresponding to The League of Women Voters in the United States. Count and Countess De Lord Rinaldi were Gentleman in Waiting and Lady in Waiting to H.R.H. The Duchess Irene di Savoia Aosta, Princess of Greece and Denmark.
