Marian Larson was born in Cobalt, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy E. Alguire. She spent her childhood in both Michigan and California. She was a student of the Meglen Dance Studio in Hollywood, a group which performed in movies. She pursued a modeling career in California and modeled for the movie designer Adrian in Beverly Hills before her marriage to Carl Larson. Music has also been an important part of her life and she has sung with various a cappella choirs. She was married to the late Carl Edward Larson, for fifty-five years the sales manager and vice president of Trico Products. Marian and Carl Larson are the parents of Signe, Robert, Reese and Lynn (deceased). Marian has always been ready to assist young people needing her legal, financial or spiritual help in her own private way. There is no generation gap between Marian Larson and today’s young people. She was chairman of the first Muscular Dystrophy organization in Michigan, for the purpose of fund raising. her first and foremost project of the years, however, has been Northwood University.
