Why Earn the Global Competency Certificate?
Northwood University students must have the essential skills, necessary knowledge and character dispositions to be successful in the global workforce upon completion of their degree. To ensure these students can be engaged and participate as active global citizens in their chosen field and in a culturally diverse world, the addition of a Global Competency Certificate (GCC) to their learning and to their résumé will enable them to stay competitive in the rapidly changing global economy.
Pursuing the GCC helps students become globally competent by developing the skills, practices, and perspectives needed to navigate a complex and interconnected world. Northwood University wants to prepare students through a combination of academic courses, international immersion experiences and co-curricular activities.
Enrollment Process & Fees:
Students may enroll as early as an incoming freshman through an online web form in My.Northwood. Students will also pay the $25.00 one-time fee; includes X-Culture course if applicable.
