Campus Closure for the Holidays

The Northwood University campus will be closed from December 23rd until January 2nd for the holidays.

Academic Advising

From your first time registering to the day that you fill out your graduation application, your academic advisor will guide you throughout your educational journey. At Northwood, we take a proactive approach to advising to ensure that each first-year-student has time to meet with their advisor. This allows us to get to know you better and make sure you have the support you need to succeed.

Success Coaching

The transition from high school to university has a learning curve. At Northwood, we want to make sure that students who need it get the extra support that will assist with their adjustment. Your Success Coach will help you create a customized success plan, and connect you with resources to help you stay on track.

The Foundations Curriculum

The Foundations Curriculum is our signature approach to student success and term-to-term support for new students. We developed a three-course sequence as a transformative experience to take students from being new to college, to emerging campus leaders to business-ready applicants prepared to compete in the global marketplace.

Disability Services

If you are a student who had an academic accommodation in the past, our Disability Services support staff can help you navigate this process at Northwood University. We want to ensure you have the structure in place to effectively learn and to show your knowledge on tests and quizzes.
