Northwood University is a private, not-for-profit university located in Midland, Michigan, where the American Dream is very much alive. The Flags, Freedom, and Free Enterprise Program provides flags to individuals and small businesses who support The Northwood Idea, wish to honor the United States of America, and show gratitude for our veterans, service members, and their military families.

Flag Display Guidelines

• The flag shouldn’t be flown in inclement weather unless it’s an all-weather flag. (Your 3×5 flag is an all-weather flag.)
• Flags displayed at night should be properly illuminated.
• The flag should not touch anything below it or rest on the ground.
