The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) is an organization that seeks out to help developing leaders to find and achieve their goals while focusing on being a force that helps better their campus and community.
The Northwood Chapter of NSLS has reached record-breaking enrollment over the course of the 2018/2019 academic year with about 185 active members. The chapter’s executive board worked tirelessly during the year to offset the cost of annual dues and finished the year with no out-of-pocket expenses.
NSLS is now looking towards the future 2019/2020 academic year with their new key initiative, “Leadership Reimagined” that brings together four key components: accreditation, credit pathway, core refresh and elevating experience. NSLS has become the first organization of its kind to be an accredited leadership development program and students will be eligible to earn academic credit during their engagement with the program. NSLS will also be taking a new and refreshed visual feel and approach to their 5-step leadership process by updating videos, printed material and online features. Lastly, NSLS will be focused more heavily on the overall experience and making the program more personalized for its members.
