The Northwood University campus will be closed from December 23rd until January 2nd for the holidays.

Vivian Young has served as an officer, executive board member, advisor and hostess for numerous organizations, functions and events internationally. Among them, The Dallas Women’s Club, the Susan Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer Research, Junior League of Dallas and Junior League Garden Club, the Royal Dublin Society and The Dallas Museum of Art. She was a presidential invitee to The White House Conference for Trade and Investment in Ireland, a 1993 honoree for The Inaugural Texas-Ireland Fund, Co-chair for The Crescent Gala benefiting The Kennedy Center, was commissioned by the cities of Dallas-Ft. Worth to create the presentation gift tea table to Queen Elizabeth II, is a recipient of the Ultra Humanitarian Award and listed as an honored professional in the national directory of Who’s Who in Executives and Professionals. A past member of Northwood’s Texas Board of Governors, Mrs. Young chaired the Dallas chapter of Northwood’s National Women’s Board during record breaking years in funding support for scholarships and the campus building campaign. She has helped to generate friends and funds for Northwood, making the University a leading charity in Dallas. Vivian Young is Co-owner, with Caroline Rose Hunt, of Lady Primrose’s Shopping the English Countryside in Dallas, Royal Bathing and Skin Luxuries in Dallas and London and Thatched Cottage Pantry in Dallas. She has been a longtime friend of the Northwood Distinguished Women’s program.
