Visit Northwood
Choosing the right college is one of the most important decisions of your life. Finding the environment that best fits you can be accomplished with a personal visit to campus. This visit provides you an opportunity to meet faculty, staff, students and to explore campus life. A college visit is an excellent way to decide if Northwood is the university for you. Because selecting a college is such an important decision, families are welcome and encouraged to participate.
As part of your visit, we can arrange any or all of the following for you:
- appointment with an admissions counselor
- tour of the campus and residence halls
- meeting with a faculty member and/or attendance in a class
- dining with students
Personal visits can be scheduled for nearly any day but holidays. Drop-in visits are also welcome during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.). The campus is open on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. (except holidays) from September to May.
To schedule an appointment, you are encouraged to call the Admissions Office at 1-800-457-7878 at least one week in advance of your planned visit. You may also send an e-mail. Be sure to include you name, date and time you would like to visit and a phone number we can reach you at to confirm your request.
In addition to the personal visit, students are encouraged to attend the numerous Open Houses the admissions office sponsors each year.
