Life at Northwood

The college experience at Northwood University isn’t all about academics. A major part of the college experience is what happens outside of the classroom. All three NU campuses offer a vibrant and exciting student environment, and international students should take an active part in that environment.

Each campus offers multiple opportunities for students to grow, to learn and to expand their experience and perspectives. Students should become involved in numerous student organizations and campus events that include:

  • Student-led activities such as auto shows and fashion shows
  • Intramural sports
  • Student organizations
  • Community activities
  • Volunteer activities
  • Campus arts activities
  • Career and campus fairs

Through involvement on the campus and in the community, students will form lasting friendships, develop leadership and networking skills, and encounter new ideas from faculty, staff, students, community leaders and friends/alumni of Northwood University.
