The 39th Distinguished Women's Awards
Northwood University again honored some of America's great minds and philanthropists during a weekend of events celebrating women.
All the events were well attended by students, alumni, faculty, and staff alike, and exuded a distinct energy and enthusiasm for Northwood.
Next year, the DW Award's weekend will be held at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa in Phoenix, November 5-7, 2009.
The Distinguished Women's Awards are given annually to draw attention to the accomplishments of productive individuals who illustrate high achievement in areas which are specific to Northwood's distinctive philosophy. The event creates an occasion to bring Northwood University to the attention of those whom share an interest in its principles of higher education. The women honorees serve as role models for students and are encouraged to become involved with the University and the students in a variety of meaningful ways.
