Northwood University is seeking a dynamic individual to manage our Alumni Relations program for our Florida campus and all alumni living in the Eastern USA, Eastern Canada and Bahamas while developing relations to build awareness and promote financial support to the University.  Director will work with Friends of Northwood, Professional Advisory Council and the local community to support the University's annual fundraising objectives.  Director is responsible for strengthening ties between the graduate alumni body and the University; increasing the amount of donations from alumni; identifying and cultivating major gift and donor prospects; writing publications for communications to alumni and parents; coordinating all alumni membership initiatives; serving as liaison to the Alumni Leadership Council and the Student Alumni Leadership Council; promoting opportunities provided by the alumni office; developing regional alumni programs; and, overseeing the Alumni Relations Office.  Director will also establish and maintain the University's visibility within community through involvement in appropriate organizations; identify potential supporters and develop list of prospects for solicitation; organize special campaigns and events; and, forecast and manage budgets.  Require:  Bachelor's degree; 3-5 years previous fund development and event planning experience; excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and experience with database management; and, availability to work occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends in connection with special events.

Northwood University is seeking a highly-motivated individual to coordinate and lead initiatives for our On-Line program.  Director will work with EVP and Deans to develop an institutional model and choose appropriate courses and programs for quality on-line delivery.  Director will lead the development of enhanced hybrid and fully on-line courses; work with system colleagues to set on-line education policy, choose products and resources for the system's on-line education programs and manage as appropriate; assist in developing strategies for enrollment outreach and management; assist Department Chairs and Faculty with incorporating more web-enhanced activities into existing courses; and, remain current with system and national developments on on-line education.  Director will have systems in place to measure effectiveness of processes, respond efficiently and effectively when process changes are required, champion instructional improvement activities and collaborate with Deans to ensure One Northwood academic excellence.  Master's degree is required as well as on-line teaching experience and experience coordinating/managing an on-line education program and working collaboratively with faculty and staff using instructional technologies.  Prefer:  PhD.  Candidate must be highly motivated and solution-oriented with a high degree of integrity, ethics and dedication to the mission of the University; a self-starter with documented successes in managing/leading people, projects and strategic plans; have excellent written and oral communication skills; have the ability to set and obtain short- and long-term goals with measurable results; and, be proficient on Microsoft Office package and working knowledge of Datatel and ACT.

Northwood University seeks a dynamic leader with strong interpersonal skills, a track record of professional success, and experience in the hospitality industry and hospitality education.  The Manager is responsible for overseeing all facets of the NADA Center Hotel, including housekeeping, contract foodservice, on/off site catering and catered events.  Responsibilities include financial management, staffing, and daily operations of the property; develop and maintain a superior student learning environment within the NADA through partnering with the Hotel, Restaurant and Resort Management (HRRM) academic department.   Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule (some weekends and evening events)and have a valid driver's license.  Manager is expected to teach one or two courses per semester in HRRM department based on background and experience.   Require:  MA/MS degree in Hospitality Management or closely related field with min of 5 yrs experience in the hospitality industry; min of 2 yrs experience in Operations Management, Catering Management or Front Office Management; basic knowledge of housekeeping operations; knowledge and ability to uphold appropriate sanitation and safety standards; experience in training/teaching students/employees; experience in budgeting and managing budgets; ability to work independently in timely, consistent, accurate manner; strong interpersonal and communication skills; strong organizational skills; professional, customer service and detail oriented skills; working experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook and scheduling software.  Prefer:  Serve Safe certified; Techniques of Alcohol Management Certification or equivalent.

Northwood University seeks a Director of Financial Aid to handle the administration of all financial assistance programs (including Title IV, state and institutional programs) at our Cedar Hill, Texas, campus.  Director will assure compliance with all federal, state and institutional rules and regulations relating to financial assistance; supervise professional and support staff; complete monthly reconciliations; manage the operating budget; play a key role in forecasting trends; assist in enrollment and retention initiatives; oversee the office's electronic/automated services utilizing Datatel's Colleague™ software and ImageNow software; and, provide financial aid counseling to and represent the college to current and prospective students, their families, high schools and other interested parties.  Require:  Master's degree and a minimum of five years of progressive financial aid experience.  Candidate must have a thorough and detailed knowledge of Title IV programs and any state aid programs relevant to the campus; proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and Datatel's Colleague™ software; and solid computer, analytical, administrative and interpersonal skills.  Bachelor's degree candidates will be considered based upon experience.
