About Northwood University at Toyota

Northwood University provides Toyota employees and employees of on-site contractors the opportunity to complete their Bachelor of Business Administration degree in the Training Center at the Georgetown, KY manufacturing facility.

Every class needed for degree completion is offered on-site. In addition, TMMK employees may also take classes at any Kentucky location to expedite their degree completion. Classes are offered around workers' hours: second shift workers take up to three classes per week for eight weeks from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. First shift employees take classes from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm - both of these classes are taught by the same professor to facilitate continuity for employees whose shifts change during the term.

On-site advising and evaluation is offered at no cost or obligation for all interested personnel. Toyota training may be transferred in as part of a student's Work Life Learning Portfolio. At the initial meeting, it will be determined if you qualify for work/life learning. Up to one year of college may be earned in this manner. Team members have a wonderful employment benefit because TMMK reimburses college tuition.
